My law review published an article on the pine tar. I’ll try and find it for you. It’s very clever.

Roy, Thanks for the tour of the Hall, and I didn't have to pay $300. I've been there three times, and I feel I see new things there all the time. Joy and I hope to make another visit there this summer.

Now you need to go on induction weekend. I was there last year when Ichiro was put in the hall, it was pure magic!

Sorry for one reason. I took the trip 4 times…three as a camper and one as an adult. You can’t really appreciate this glorious place if you are a youngster.

My trip as an adult was just spectacular. My hero growing up was “the Mick”. The HOF doesn’t do him justice. I should show you my books one day. Btw…every Jersey (no pun intended) from Yankees, Golden Nights, Barcelona soccer has my name and #7 on the back.

I loved this blog.

Great edition, makes me want to take that trip to Cooperstown. Agree with you on the players who should be in the HOF, particularly Wills (another Dodgers fan here thanks to Brooklyn). And thanks for reviving memories of the train ride between Albany and NYC, which took me and my brother to and from summer camp in the beautiful Adirondacks!

Roy, there’s never a right or wrong moment to visit the hallowed “Baseball Hall of Fame.” And yes, you can never do it all in one visit. The beauty of going back is that Cooperstown is a special destination. It’s a bit like time travel, back to a simpler time. The Otesaga resort & Lake Otsego frame the town giving you an opportunity to escape the tourism at a moment’s turn. Terry & I have been 3 times and I’d go back for a fourth visit in a heartbeat. Take Andi and introduce her to its charm, and make an upstate holiday out of it. Oh, and never, ever throw away old baseball cards!!

Fantastic review of the Hall of Fame and surrounding area! I’ve been four times to visit the hall and three of those times were for induction weekend. Our mutual friend Chet Lumish and I visited on two separate occasions during induction weekend and I must’ve spent $10,000 on memorabilia! Thanks for a ride back through memory lane!⚾️⚾️

37 years in NY and I never went to the HOF either. At this point, I might get around to it after Pete gets in! And, you just had to take a shot at the Mets.

Roy, I have to take issue with you on Pete Rose. "He only bet on his own team."

Here's an example.....this rookie pitcher should only go 6 innings. Rose decides to

stretch him out for another inning, thus risking the youngster's health. His reasoning....

HE BET $10,000 ON THE GAME!!!!!

P.S. I also met Pete Rose while working at a sportsbook. Probably the nastiest customer

to ever come to my window. Not to mention a very sick gambler.

I once bumped into him in the Caesar's restroom. He wanted to bet me on two cockroaches

climbing up the wall, which one would get to the ceiling first!

I am glad it was worth the trip. Rose and Munson deserve HOF status.
