Great read Roy. That hit in old guys camp wasn't a fluke, it was a finely placed missile from a wily veteran, dead center field! To defeat a rival filled with hubris! Better stop now...

I’ve had 2. One at the same hole you played at RRCC and one in Palm Springs. The mustache and beard still remain.

Nice blog.

interesting story as a mustache can be your best friend

Doc- I said I would shave it. I did. But made no promises about not growing it back again!

Now that Terry has taken up golf “again”, I doubt at his age he’s looking for that elusive hole-in-one (making Par fee;s just as good). And, there’s no danger of his shaving his mustache/chin adornment (28 years) off . . . Hell, he won’t even let anyone trim it! That handsome “punim” of yours would look good either way. I vote for Andi’s opinion . . . happy wife, happy life!

Roy congratulations. I’m still searching for that elusive hole in one. I bet you look 10 years younger without your mustache.

Thank you Roy for a very enjoyable read... I believe another hole in one is heading your way...

I loved this for so many reasons.. Jerry changed Stuart’s game forever, he only shaved his stash once the first hole in one was at RRCC… but mostly it made me smile and tear thinking of the camaraderie and the great time on the golf course you all have

Thanks for sharing your story. My beard only lasted four years.
