It was my final semester at Boston University (Spring of 1976). Took a course, just cause I needed the credits (Sociology of Sports). First day.....found myself in the room with a bunch
of hockey players. The guy sitting next to me tells me he really needs to do well in this course
so he can remain on the team. He asked me if I would help him out.
Not a real hockey fan, I reluctantly agreed.
I lean over to shake his hand and introduce myself.
"Hi.....I'm Herb Shainker."
His reply...."Hi....I'm Mike Eruzione. Nice to meet you."
"Miracle On Ice???" This country can thank me!!!!!
